About Pam Albert
Pam is a certified coach and therapist, who has worked in the field for more than forty years. After being diagnosed with Stage Four Ovarian Cancer in 2021, Pam focused her attention on developing a unique, empowering and positive framework to assist her in coping with the regular, challenging and intense chemo therapy treatments, prescribed by her doctors.
Her determination to embrace this positive framework plus her indomitable spirit, has earned her the nickname of “Queen Warrior,” among her family, friends, colleagues and sometimes even strangers, who she has encountered on her journey.
Her nickname and what it stands for, has inspired Pam to share her step-by-step strategy for coping successfully with other cancer patients and survivors.
The goal is to help cancer patients to navigate their treatment, so as to feel more in control of their lives, she says. “My constructive approach helps to allay their inevitable fears and lower their anxiety levels and, at the same time encourage them to develop, a can-do, positive outlook.”
Likewise with cancer survivors, Pam’s objective is help those who have completed their treatment, to develop new coping skills “that change the way that they master their lives on a daily basis, so as to help them to move forward.”
